HUNAN PROVINCE

Geography:Hunan Province is located at the southern part of the lower and middle reaches of the Yangtze River.Surrounded by mountains in the east,south,west and Dongting Lake plain in the north,it's whole landform bears the resemblance to a hoof.The total area is 210000 square km,and Changsha is its capital city.

Climate Population:Hunan is characterized by the continental subtropical monsoon climate,enjoys the annual average temperature between 16¡æ-18¡æ£¬the rainfall between 1200-1700mm.It has the population of 66 million,and embraces 42 nationalities of Han,Tu,Miao,Dong etc.
